Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
A note from the artist,
For as long as I can remember I have had a camera in my hands. Growing up in the country with farmer of a father, I was frequently reminded to admire our surroundings each and everyday. He would say “don’t forget to stop and look around, or feel the cold pockets of air on a warm summer night as you’re driving down the road. It’s important to enjoy mother nature.” I thank my father for that because deep down that is where my passion for photography was ignited. From there I enrolled in photography during high school for all four years. Getting lost in the dark room for what seemed like hours was my favorite place to be if I wasn’t outdoors shooting. Nature is an incredibly healing place for the soul for myself. It promotes a sense of peace that isn’t found in our everyday busy lives. Throughout my life I have faced many obstacles, as we all do, and in those moments I found comfort, clarity, peace and grounding being in nature photographing its beauty.
My vision is simple and it lives in creating photos that inspire others to see the beautiful world that surrounds us. I wish to capture special moments that leave everlasting impressions on the hearts of many. Photos that take you away to that exact moment in time. Our world is a beautiful place and I challenge each and everyone of y’all to stop and smell the roses, put your hand out the window to feel the wind in your fingertips, wake up for a sunrise, watch a sunset or go on a hike…just get out there! You’ll be amazed what our world has to offer when you open your eyes to its possibilites.
“Spreading peace, love and happiness one photo at a time” Always, Lindsay Marie
